Product Description

The 17 series separating devices are used in conjunction with the 18 series extractors to remove ball bearings, roller bearings, inner races, and other flat-contact parts in trades, industry, and workshops when there is insufficient space for the extraction jaws. The extraction and separation process gently separates these parts initially, before they can be extracted from the outside. Compared to the 15 series, the 17 series is particularly easy to handle, as the separating jaws are quickly and centrally tensioned by a pressure spindle.

Scope of application

For extracting ball bearings, rolling bearings, inner rings and other flat parts in trade, industry and workshops.

Operation

1. Press the sharp blades of the separating device behind the workpiece
2. Tighten the separating jaws by operating the spindle and make sure that the separating knives are under the workpiece to be extracted until they stop.
3. Screw the pulling pins of the extraction devices into the threaded holes of the separating device until they stop.
4. Hold the separating device still and carefully remove the piece by tightening the clamping nut
